NEW CHIEF OF POLICE

San Andreas State Police Commissioner Board has named Vincent Rahmad as the new chief of Los Santos Police Department. Vincent, who served years in policing, starts his appointment Tuesday 30 August 2022. Vincent Rahmat was sworn in with his left hand on a copy of the Quran as Los Santos’s 3rd police chief during a ceremony at Vespucci Station. He has been serving at the city's police department for more than two decades. Vincent replaced Lim Godwinson, who retired as of August.

"I am humbled and honored to join the men and women of the Los Santos Police Department in their mission to protect the Citizens and the Community" Vincent said in a release. The board conducted a national search for a new chief while Alexander Luis, a 2-year veteran of the force, served as acting police chief for the department.

He started with the department as a patrol officer in 2021 and worked his way up the ranks to become a Captain, to head the department’s bureau of major cases and to serve as the Metropolitan Commanding Officer.

The board lauded Vincent's "commitment to listening, fairness and transparency" and said he'll help rebuild trust among Los Santos Police Officers and employees.
